Michael joined Santé Ventures in 2019 as a Senior Advisor. He also currently serves as the Chairman of Hoffman Ventures Limited, Chairman of the International Board of Advisors at The University of Texas at Austin, Member of Advisory Board at All Advisory Board of the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, Member of the
Chancellor’s Council of the University of Texas System, Board Member of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Chairman of the Trustees of Richmond University and Chairman of The American Academy in Berlin. In addition to the roles above, he is also a Trustee of George Washington University, Director of the United States-Spain Council, the Salzburg Seminar and as a Member of the New York Council on Foreign Relations. Michael continues to serve on the Boards of a number of performing arts organizations such as Almeida Theatre in London. He also serves as the Chairman of The Museum of London Development Board; Chairman of London Archaeology, Chairman of The Philharmonia Trust, a Member of The British Library Campaign Board; and as a Trustee of The Philharmonia Orchestra. He serves as a Member of Council of Advisor at RAND Europe.
Prior to joining Santé Ventures, he co-founded Palamon Capital Partners in 1999, where he served as chairman until 2015 and as a Managing Partner. Previously, he served as a Partner of London office at Warburg Pincus LLC for 11 years, starting in 1987. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he had a 15-year career as a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Co., Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation, and Arthur D. Little, Inc.
Michael received a B.A. from the University of Texas, an M.A. in International Economics from Columbia University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
