ZMINA Human Rights Center works in the field of human rights protection through monitoring, documentation, research, and advocacy. The organization focuses on freedom of expression, freedom of movement, non-discrimination, prevention of torture and ill-treatment, and protection of people affected by armed conflict. ZMINA conducts information
campaigns and educational programs for journalists, civil society, and officials on human rights standards and practices. It runs its own media portal and produces analytical reports, shadow reports, and thematic studies on the human rights situation. The center engages in national and international advocacy, including submissions to UN and European institutions, and participates in coalitions and networks related to human rights, international crimes, and support for human rights defenders.
