ZA is an architecture studio led by Peter Zuroweste that works across architecture, landscape, and urbanism. The practice focuses on post-disaster reconstruction, social housing, educational facilities, and public space, often in response to environmental and social crises. ZA undertakes urban design and master planning, architectural design for
housing and community buildings, and design-build collaborations such as international pavilions. The studio integrates design research on topics like thermodynamics, data center waste heat, and computational methods into its built and speculative projects. Its work serves public agencies, educational institutions, and communities, including earthquake-affected cities and marginalized neighborhoods. ZA combines conceptual investigations with practical delivery from concept design through construction documentation.
