YAPPA was founded in 2000 in Tokyo by then 17-year old Masahiro Ito and is now considered to be of Japan's leading user interface developers.
The company provides UI solutions for the mobile industry and is also involved in designing interfaces for consumer electronic devices. YAPPA also engages in R&D in 3D real-time rendering technologies.
The company also cooperates with Sankei Shimbun, one of Japan's top daily newspapers, in delivering digital versions of the printed paper to readers.
YAPPA has two offices in Japan and also runs branches in the USA and France.
YAPPA also has a new website www.spinui.com where developers can get a free trial of SpinUI, a graphic effects library that can be used for UI and application creation.
