waste at source, collection and conversion to compost is managed and supervised by one of the owner /managers of the company.

Y Waste is a Black owned, BBBEE Level 3 company. Their focus on effective and responsible management of food waste and conversion of food waste to compost, reduces the contribution which food waste makes to landfill proliferation and enable the replenishment of the soil which in turn leads to a better world.
Y Waste started trading in February 2010 with a focus on the manufacture and sale of worm farms for residential and craft market purposes and is committed to continue to expand in the area of sustainable waste management with a key focus on food waste management within the corporate and hospitality industries
