Xaxli'p is an Indigenous government that governs and serves the Xaxli’pmec through a range of community programs, services, and economic activities. The administration oversees operations across departments such as child and family services, education, finance, health, housing, public works, social development, and lands management.
Xaxli'p provides community-based services including prevention services, home and community health care, social supports, and emergency management. The government also manages business initiatives such as the Xaxli'p Community Forest Corporation, a campground at Qwelh7inmecw (Fountain Lake), and participation in partnership projects. Through these functions, Xaxli'p supports governance, community well-being, and stewardship of its traditional territory.
