Company Performance Metrics
Write the World is dedicated to supporting young writers, directly and through their educators, to develop the writing, critical thinking, reading, and communication skills essential to become global citizens and achieve success in school, career, and life.
Write the World is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2012 at Harvard
University, that provides online supplemental educational programs and a writing community that serves young writers, their educators and schools. Our programs offer safe and engaging online writing communities for middle and high school students, ages 13 to 19. Young writers develop their voices, refine their editing skills, and publish their work within a supportive community of peers. In classrooms, teachers utilize Write the World’s virtual class groups, writing prompts, lesson plans, assessment tools, and other resources to supplement their curriculum. Write the World also offers monthly writing competitions, creative writing workshops, and college application essay programs.
Today, Write the World continues to grow, and has reached over 101K+ teens and educators from 125 countries.
