Company Performance Metrics
Windworks designs and markets smart vertical-axis wind turbines (VAWTs) for on-site power production at commercial and industrial sites. Our turbines are in the 10 - 100 kW range, stands below 30 m and integrate on working farms, factories and municipal infrastructure with a compact footprint and low acoustic impact. Their height and technical
specification shift permitting time from decades to months.
Our patented adaptive blade pitch control resolves the two fundamental weaknesses of conventional VAWTs: poor energy capture and short lifetime. It delivers 2–3× higher annual energy production and 5–7× longer structural life than fixed-pitch designs, enabling a target LCOE of CHF 0.08–0.12/kWh — competitive without subsidies and well below typical C&I grid tariffs.
Wind is a natural seasonal complement to solar PV, producing roughly two-thirds of its annual yield between October and April. Windworks makes on-site wind economically viable for the first time at C&I scale, helping businesses cut electricity costs, decarbonise and strengthen energy autonomy year-round.
