It supports the community of individuals and companies using and contributing to the WikiHouse platform, and hosts an open marketplace for sale of services over and above the
commons.
WikiHouse Foundation also promotes the development and dissemination of open source, high-performance, low-cost, low-energy, locally-manufactural design solutions for sustainable development and to engage with governments, non-profits, and private companies to address housing crises and support citizens and communities in the production of homes, neighborhoods, and cities.
WikiHouse Foundation was founded in 2011 by Alastair Parvin, Justyna Swat, and Sarah Gold. It is based in London, England.
