project brought together by a Westfield POD, a Johnston Sweeper, and the Fusion Autonomy system to make the UK’s first fully autonomous pure electric road sweeper. The project's purpose is for the reduction of the harmful environmental impacts of road sweeping. Its technology uses AI to detect differing dirt and objects, having a pure electric vehicle sweeping and also supporting future transport systems by being a connected vehicle that can be used for council or airport asset management.
