Wells College firmly believes in the importance of a personalized education. With an average enrollment under 650 and a student-to-faculty ratio of about 9:1, the school is true to this belief. College’s academics are surprisingly extensive for its size. The college offers more than 20 majors, some of which have the option of additional concentrations. For example, English majors can concentrate in Literature or Creative Writing, and Visual Arts majors can concentrate in Art History or Studio Art.
You can apply to Wells College either online or with the Common Application. In addition to your high school transcript, standardized test scores and letters of recommendation, Wells suggests participating in a personal interview. The application deadline for regular admissions is March 1.
In addition to federal financial aid programs, Wells College funds a number of institutional scholarships. These scholarships are based on merit, and are awarded to incoming students.
