About the Company
In 2006, this idea was not very common. At the University of Leipzig, two young scientists decided to put it into practice. Post-graduate students Hanna Köpcke and Sabine Maßmann started a research project at the Department of Computer Science.
Their goal was demanding: To design the perfect system for retrieving and comparing data from the
internet. To which degree is a piece of information similar to another one? How can we build a software so that it automatically “knows” if it is looking at identical or different SKU’s, for example?
The answer lies in an extremely advanced matching algorithm, providing outstanding data quality. This is what separates blackbee from competing software solutions.
