Washington Progress Alliance is a nonprofit donor alliance that organizes individual and institutional donors to support progressive political and civic work. The organization pools and aligns contributions into a shared fund and regrants money to community-based organizations, candidate support programs, and movement-building initiatives. It
focuses on long-term power-building through core grants, movement capacity grants, and additional capacity-building support for grantees. Washington Progress Alliance prioritizes organizations that build political power in communities of color and advance democratic participation, organizing, and policy change. It also convenes and advises donors, coordinates the First Mile Circle donor program, and partners with allied political and civic groups to strengthen shared strategies.
