Volgren began producing bus bodies for a simple reason. They had experience operating buses and wanted to build a vehicle that was more reliable, more comfortable, longer-lasting, and with lower operating costs. In the industry, they understood the quirks, the frustrations, and the demands. It was easy for them to empathize with drivers, operators,
