Visual IP Insight helps manage IP connectivity across various access technologies, including dial, dedicated, broadband, and VPN connections. Visual Networks markets its products to enterprises, service providers, and value-added resellers through indirect sales channels. It has strategic relationships with AT&T, SBC, Sprint, Verizon, Mahindra British Telecom, and MCI WorldCom Network Services, Inc. The company was formerly known as Avail Networks, Inc. and changed its name to Visual Networks, Inc. in December 1994. Visual Networks, Inc. was incorporated in 1993 and is based in Rockville, Maryland. As of January 20, 2006, Visual Networks Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Fluke Electronics Corporation.
