Virtual Regatta is the world leader in e-sailing with over one million players per year. Headquarters are located in Paris /France. The company was founded in 2002 by Philippe Guigné, former pro sailor and serial entrepreneur.

Our two games covers the two main sailing disciplines, OFFSHORE (long distance/duration, Permanent world and

Massive) and INSHORE (5' of intensive racing, realtime multiplayers).

We partner, exclusively, with best sailing events in the world, including: Vendée Globe, Volvo Ocean Race, America’s Cup, Star Sailors League, Transat Jacques Vabre, Tour de France à la Voile, Fastnet Race, Sydney-Hobart, Jules Verne (about 50 races per year).

Virtual Regatta is now an ESPORT company, organising worldwide competition involving hundreds of thousands of competitors from all over the world. Since 2018, we exclusively partner with the International Sailing Federation to deliver the title of "e-Sailor of the Year" in Arena, closing the very official "eSailing World Championship".
