About the Company
VenueJam a social networking type website which matches music venues with local artists, and vice versa. Artists would be able to create a profile which would include pictures, sample tracks, a biography, type of venue desired, and location. Venues would be able to create a similar profile and search for artists based on location, and genre of
music, and be able to contact the artists with the intent of booking them. Artsits would be able to search for venues to play at, and "apply" to their profiles. This would be beneficial to the venues because it would eliminate the need to pay an agent a percentage, and it would allow local artists that may not have a lot of connections to play at some great venues.
