Veecle lets AI agents work with chips without the physical hardware. Its product, Chiplab, plugs into the AI coding assistants engineers already use and lets their agents build, run, and test firmware on virtual copies of real chips — in the cloud, instantly.
AI agents can now write software autonomously: write code, run it, see what happened, fix
it, repeat. But that loop breaks the moment code has to run on a real chip — without hardware in hand, an agent can’t execute its code or observe the result, so the loop never closes. This has kept the roughly 11 million embedded engineers building cars, drones, robots, and medical devices out of the agentic coding shift entirely.
Veecle closes the loop. It runs the agent’s code on an exact virtual copy of the target chip and returns everything that happened inside: outputs, errors, timing issues, silent failures. Embedded software can now be built the way the rest of software already is — and every run feeds a growing dataset of real-world chip behavior, an advantage that compounds over time.
Veecle is based in Berlin and works with leading chipmakers and manufacturers. Its founders — CEO Dr. Stefan Nürnberger, CPO Sohyeon Park, and CTO Daniel Frassinelli — each bring 10+ years in safety-critical systems, automotive security, and applied cybersecurity (CISPA, DFKI, Hyundai).
