- Gabriel Guzman: Chief Executive Officer
Vanta Records is an American independent record label founded in 2021 by British entrepreneur Callum L. Grady, Californian producer Gabriel Guzman, and Indian music publicist Vrishin Gattu. The label was established to challenge conventional industry norms by promoting transparency, artist empowerment, and cross-cultural collaboration.
The name
“Vanta” was suggested by Guzman, and despite initial concerns over potential brand confusion, it was adopted following internal debate. Grady was elected Chairman by the Board due to his prior experience in music industry leadership, while Guzman and Gattu took on production and publicity roles respectively.
Vanta Records gained early recognition after signing TikTok influencer Jon Tan and his cousin Sean J., a move that helped the label stand out in a competitive talent market. The company also explored a partial equity acquisition of MoonBox Studios, a creative production firm.
Grady exited the company in 2022, selling his 30% stake to Guzman following internal disputes, including the controversial removal of co-founder Gattu. Despite this, Vanta Records continues to operate out of California and has represented a growing roster of emerging artists.
