Initially launched as a small kurti collection under the parent firm Jai Govindam, Vaaki’s first pieces—crafted in cotton, rayon, and Chikankari—were sold locally on April 4, 2018. By 2022, after receiving overwhelming support from global customers, Jai Govindam’s core team decided to establish Vaaki as a standalone global brand, built on its unique clothing styles and handmade patterns.
