VA Linux Systems is a software developer that owns the online retailer known as ThinkGeek. Prior to that, it operated as a systems-hardware business. Also at VA Linux, he acquired Andover.net, merging SourceForge.net, Linux.com, Slashdot, and other well-known Open Source Internet sites to form the Open Source Development Network (OSDN).
