Company Performance Metrics
Universal Limbs Foundation provides free, customized 3D-printed upper-limb prosthetics to people affected by conflict, with a focus on children in refugee and war-impacted communities. The organization designs and manufactures body-powered prosthetic devices using 3D printing, tailored to each child’s anatomy, activity level, and cultural
requirements. Universal Limbs Foundation also delivers structured training so children can learn grip patterns, daily task performance, and bilateral coordination with their prosthetics. Its programs include trauma-informed psychosocial workshops that address grief, war-related trauma, and identity changes associated with limb loss. The organization involves families and local healthcare providers in assessment, fitting, and follow-up to support long-term functional use and adaptation. All programming and prosthetic devices are provided at no cost to participating families.
