Chief Kinosew Children's Lodge is an Indigenous-governed child and family services agency operating under the Driftpile River Children’s Law. The organization provides prevention, protection, and support services for children, youth, and families based on Driftpile Cree Nation laws and values. Its programs include family preservation services,
such as parenting workshops, referrals, advocacy, and culturally based activities that focus on keeping families together. Chief Kinosew Children's Lodge also delivers post-majority support services that help young adults transition from care to independent living through housing, education, wellness, and life skills support. In addition, it offers band representative services that advocate for Driftpile Cree Nation children in child welfare and court processes and promote awareness of Indigenous-led services. The agency organizes registration initiatives, community meetings, and outreach activities to plan and deliver programs for members living on and off reserve.
