About the Company
Umii is a university-based connections app, helping students to make friends at university. Whether they are a new student wanting to connect with people ahead of term time or just looking to expand their circle, Umii connects students at university based on their course, societies and interests.
Within universities, there is a growing problem of
student loneliness and isolation. On average, this causes 1 in 10 UK undergraduates to drop out of university before their second year of study (in some institutions, that figure is as high as 1 in 4). Umii helps students with similar interests to connect, exchange messages and build lasting friendships. Helping reduce isolation, improve attendance and student wellbeing.
