The University of North Texas awards various scholarships to help eligible students cover tuition costs. The criteria for most freshman scholarships are high school ranking and ACT or SAT scores. Continuing students who wish to obtain scholarships should have a minimum GPA of 3.25. University of North Texas also provides federal and state grants, federal and private loans and work-study awards. There are also academic grants for those pursuing specific majors or professions.
