Transloadit is a Berlin-based startup that handles file uploading and processing tasks for various websites across the Internet. Developers can easily integrate Transloadit's services via a jQuery plugin, or through their various available SDKs.
Files can be uploaded, encoded, transformed, and exported to customer servers or to various
cloud providers. Transloadit supports upload progress bars, image resizing & manipulation, video encoding & thumbnailing, audio encoding & waveform generation, document conversion, zip/unzip, and more.
Transloadit launched in 2009 as the first company to run Node.js in production. Since then, the company has grown from a bootstrapped startup to a company that has processed hundreds of terrabytes of data for a wide variety of customers all over the world.
