Tinker is an online platform that works with certified drivers and small-scale transfer companies to enable travelers to book taxis for trips to and from airports. Upon completion of the booking process, in addition to the booking confirmation by email, travelers receive their “TinkerTicket”, which should be printed and handed to the drivers. They
can share their transfers with other people on the same route.
Tinker’s customer service includes TinkerBelles, hostesses based at the airports to assist passengers. They track the flights and know where passengers’ taxis are waiting to take them to their final destination, whether it is their home or a hotel. Passengers are met at the meeting point by the driver who escorts them to the vehicle.
Tinkerbelles are available at the Schiphol airport and Brussel airport.
