Adam Boddy: Founder
They are an Australian owned and operated business, based in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. They are an online business dedicated to providing gardeners with quality herb, vegetable and flower seeds. It's their mission to make more seeds more accessible to more people; they believe everyone should have
access to quality seeds and a diversity of varieties at a fair price. The business was founded in 2010 by Adam Boddy, when he was unable to find the right seed company to buy from. "I just made the business I wanted to buy from myself" says Adam. "I hated the idea of paying for fancy packaging, it's completely unnecessary and does nothing besides increase the cost. To me seeds are such a basic product, they don't need branding or glossy pictures". Since then TheSeedCollection has operated as more of a seed service rather than a seed brand, selling quality seeds in simple packaging for a fraction of the cost of other seed companies.
