The Flywerx Project provides veterans with fly-fishing based programs that combine therapeutic outdoor experiences with professional skills training. The organization offers guide schools and advanced guide skills courses to prepare participants for roles as professional fly-fishing guides, lodge managers, and lodge staff. Programs include seasonal
career opportunities such as The Alaska Project and specialized jet boat training in partnership with Inter-Mountain Jet. Veteran peer support is integrated into the programs, pairing participants with certified veteran peers for ongoing support. The Flywerx Project also operates a sponsor-a-veteran donation model and sells branded merchandise to fund educational opportunities like guide school and job placement in the outdoor industry.
