The Engine is a Baghdad-based market research company building the data infrastructure for Iraq's consumer economy. We design and run quantitative surveys, qualitative research, and syndicated studies for clients in FMCG, telecom, finance, and development. To power this work, The Engine operates 46 million (٤٦ مليون) — Iraq's first
nationally representative consumer insights panel, with over 1,300 active participants across all 19 Iraqi governorates. It is the only panel of its kind in the country. Iraq has roughly 46 million people and almost no reliable consumer data. Brands and institutions operating here have historically relied on intuition, small convenience samples, or region-locked panels that don't cover the market. The Engine exists to close that gap.
