The Challenging Behaviour Foundation is a charity that provides information, support, training and advocacy related to challenging behaviour associated with severe learning disabilities. It offers practical resources and guidance on topics such as positive behaviour support, communication, healthcare, housing, education, legal rights and
safeguarding. The organisation delivers workshops and courses for family carers, personal assistants and professionals to build skills in understanding and supporting behaviour. It runs a Family Support Service, peer support groups and email networks to connect families and professionals. The Challenging Behaviour Foundation also coordinates networks, projects and policy work, including the Challenging Behaviour National Strategy Group and advocacy initiatives, to influence services and promote better support for people with severe learning disabilities and their families.
