The company works on character and creature design, modeling, texturing, shading, look development, and rigging, including muscle and Ziva-based simulation setups. The Beast Makers offers animation production
services such as animation, animatics, previs, layout, and storyboarding, as well as technical and on-set supervision for CG and VFX projects. The studio also carries out research and development in Python and C++ for production pipelines and rigging workflows. In addition, The Beast Makers develops and distributes rigging and facial animation tools such as the BEAST Live Adaptive Rigging System and TBM2D plugins for Autodesk Maya.
