TextielMuseum presents exhibitions, activities and educational programs focused on textiles, design, art and heritage. The organization manages a museum collection, stages changing exhibitions and offers guided tours, workshops and masterclasses for diverse audiences, including schools and professionals. At the heart of the museum it operates the
TextielLab, a working textile development center where designers, artists and architects develop new woven, knitted and tufted projects in collaboration with textile specialists. The museum also runs a specialist library and provides access to collection information and image material for research and publication. Under its own label, by TextielMuseum, it develops and sells interior textiles produced in the TextielLab through a shop and webshop.
