The word ‘tendepreneur’ is a portmanteau of the words ‘tender’ and ‘entrepreneur’. They owe Their name to the main objective of Their platform; to give deserving businesses(=entrepreneurs) access to the best opportunities(=tenders). From Their experience running a web design company in Kenya in 2013, They were inspired to create a world-class
platform to enable small and medium businesses to discover new business relationships. They also realize that connecting suppliers of goods and services to serious buyers (procuring institutions) would also go a long way in realizing the dream of many entrepreneurs, like you and I.
