Ten Chimneys provides public access to the historic estate of Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne through guided tours, exhibitions, and interpretive experiences. The organization offers several tour formats that include the main house, studio, cottage, gardens, and program center exhibits focused on the couple’s lives and theatrical work. Ten Chimneys
operates the Lunt-Fontanne Program Center, which supports play readings, lectures, theater resource programs, and high school outreach tours. The foundation also administers the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program, bringing regional theater actors together for master classes and mentorship with established theater professionals. Through these programs, Ten Chimneys presents the estate as a resource for theater and arts education and for exploring the relationship between daily life, design, and performance.
