Technology Pointe was founded in 2000 by Chuck & Marty to provide enterprise quality IT for small businesses in Austin. Along the way the company has grown significantly in several areas:
- In 2007 They opened Their first datacenter in Austin, TX. Before somebody smarter than us came up with the term "cloud", They were hosting
customer servers in a datacenter.
- In 2011 Technology Pointe merged with Teople. Around 2009 Their Dallas client base began growing significantly and an opportunity to open a Dallas office came up. Since then Their Dallas presence has grown significantly, with four staff members and several large clients.
- In 2012 Technology Pointe became an M-Files partner. This intuitive document management system solves organizational, access and compliance issues for companies and provides near immediate return on investment.
- In 2014 the continued growth of Their private cloud services necessitated opening a second datacenter in Dallas, TX. We're now able to provide geographic high availability to the hundreds of servers and terabytes of data They host for companies across the nation.
