Teach for Mongolia develops and supports young leaders to address teacher shortages and educational inequality through classroom teaching and related programs. The organization selects graduates and professionals from diverse fields and prepares them through an intensive summer program that covers pedagogy, leadership, and rural adaptation.
Participants then serve for two years as full-time teachers in under-resourced rural secondary schools while receiving ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development. Teach for Mongolia also runs initiatives such as a rural school leadership program, the Catalyst Students project on local solutions and sustainability, and the Google Certified Educator program to strengthen teachers’ digital skills. Across these programs, it works with schools, communities, and partner organizations to expand access to inclusive, quality education for children.
