TanenbaumCHAT is a coeducational community Jewish high school that offers an exciting and extensive educational experience both inside and outside the classroom. The Tanenbaum name has been associated with our school since 1998 following a major gift from philanthropist Dr. Anne Tanenbaum z"l. She cared deeply about Jewish education and her gift made possible extensive additions to the school. In honour of a further substantial gift she made before her passing in 2008, the entire school was renamed the Anne and Max Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto – TanenbaumCHAT – its everyday usage.
