Talmar provides therapeutic, vocational, and recreational programs that center on horticulture and agriculture. The organization operates a working vegetable, cut flower, and egg farm where participants engage in hands-on activities such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and greenhouse work. Talmar serves people of all ages and abilities, with a
focus on individuals with disabilities, chronic conditions, mental illness, or trauma. Its offerings include weekly therapeutic horticulture sessions, social groups, accessible art classes, and memory cafés. Talmar also delivers supported volunteering opportunities, vocational training, and a Veterans Affairs Farming and Recovery Mental Health Services program for veterans. Produce and plants grown on the farm are made available to the surrounding community through seasonal sales and events.
