Takatoat is a feminist collective that organizes to challenge gender-based discrimination and support women’s rights and feminist movements. The collective provides educational programmes such as regional feminist schools, local feminist clubs, feminist sessions, and thematic workshops on power dynamics, critical thinking, facilitation skills, and
sexual and reproductive health. It offers closed group sessions and trainings for women, girls, and caregivers that address topics including bodily autonomy, safe relationships, motherhood, and storytelling. Takatoat also produces articles, research, and knowledge publications on feminist struggles, violence against women, and women’s experiences in Jordan, the wider Middle East, and the Global South. Through these activities, it builds spaces for shared learning, collective healing, and feminist organizing.
