Superlight develops purpose-built commercial vehicles designed to change the economics and physics of middle-mile logistics. The company engineers trucks from first principles using a lightweight aluminium monocoque, composite materials, and aerospace-inspired structural design instead of traditional steel ladder chassis. Its platform replaces many
mechanical components with independent electric drive, a digital electrical architecture, and software-defined control systems. Superlight integrates an AI-driven fleet platform called ALIS that uses real-time vehicle data to predict maintenance, schedule service, and optimise uptime. The Superlight Production System applies modular, bonded aluminium manufacturing and a digital twin called SuperVisor to monitor assembly quality. The vehicles aim to increase payload volume, reduce energy cost per kilometre, and lower operational risk for commercial fleets.
