Founded in 1989 and directed by Philippe Lansade, Studio M International (SMI) is a group of private non-contract schools providing training in the audiovisual, journalism, fashion and art professions. Operating at 3 sites in France (Montpellier, Lyon and Toulouse), the Group also opened franchise schools abroad, in England (London), Canada
(Montreal) and Vietnam (Saigon) and 1,300 students in the audiovisual, journalism, fashion and art professions. SMI brings together 5 training centers: Studio M, ACFA Multimedia, Esimode, the Institute of Higher Studies of Journalism (HEJ) and the Atelier du Griffon.
