Company Performance Metrics
StreamVX is a European software-defined video technology company headquartered in Gdańsk, Poland, founded in January 2020. The company develops a portfolio of software-defined video products for cable operators, IPTV providers, MSOs, telcos, and broadcasters — each replacing a specific layer of legacy rack-based hardware. The vxApps are designed to
operate standalone and integrate with third-party systems via standard interfaces (CPIX, SCTE-35/104, SRT, HLS/DASH, REST, DVB, ATSC, ISDBT, RIST, VAST), or combine into a complete OTT and broadcast video pipeline. All products run on commodity servers, the vxFlex 1RU appliance, or existing customer hardware. The product portfolio covers the full OTT and broadcast workflow: vxOTT Gateway (origin and packaging for live and VOD), vxTranscoder (hardware-agnostic multi-codec live and VOD encoding accelerated by NETINT VPU, Intel QuickSync, GPU or CPU), vxDRM Gateway (certified multi-DRM key and license server with on-premise and air-gapped deployment), vxManifest Manipulator (HLS/DASH manipulation and server-side ad insertion), DAI Factory (server-side ad insertion across TS, manifest and FAST architectures), Intelligent StatMux (AI-driven statistical multiplexing for bandwidth optimization), vxQuality System (VMAF-based real-time quality monitoring), vxVideo Wizard (CatchUp TV, TimeShift, nPVR and VOD-to-Live FAST channel generation), and vxCDN Server (edge delivery with session control, geo-blocking and token authentication). In production today, StreamVX products power nearly 2,000 live channels transcoded 24/7, over 100 millions + DRM licenses served daily, and more than 15 petabytes of distributed traffic daily across pay-TV operators worldwide. StreamVX is positioned as a migration path for operators replacing legacy on-premise encoding appliances scheduled for end-of-life on December 31, 2026. The company serves Tier 2–4 cable and IPTV operators globally through a network of regional distribution partners, including Sencore (Sioux Falls, SD) for the North American market. StreamVX is a member of the SRT Alliance and a certified Google Widevine partner. Reference customers include Canal+ (Poland), TOYA (Poland), and MasMedia TV (Spain), Medianet (Maldives). StreamVX is strategically backed by two institutional investors holding a combined 60% equity stake: Merapar VDK I B.V. (Eindhoven, Netherlands) — a TMT-focused European investment firm with prior portfolio experience in broadcast technology — and Manuardeo Investment Services B.V. (Belgium) — the investment vehicle of Jan Leuridan, former CEO of Siemens Industry Software NV (2013–2021) and founder of LMS International. The remaining 40% is held by company founders Szymon Karbowski (CEO, 30%) and Radoslaw Korpal (Co-founder & COO, 10%).
