About the Company
Quiet is increasingly hard to come by. Noise is an important public health issue. It has negative impacts on human health and well-being and is a growing concern. The WHO has developed guidelines, based on the growing understanding of the health impacts of exposure to environmental noise. Protecting human health from exposure to environmental noise
originating from various sources: transportation (road traffic, railway and aircraft) noise, wind turbine noise and leisure noise.
Noise has detrimental health impacts even at relatively low exposure. Americans are exposed to levels of environmental noise that put them at risk for hearing loss, stress, sleep disruption, which over time increases risk of cardiovascular disease.
