Stichting railAlert contributes to safe and healthy working conditions for everyone who works on and along the Dutch rail network. The organization develops and maintains an occupational health and safety catalog for rail infrastructure that records agreements on safe and healthy working conditions. Stichting railAlert designs certification schemes
for persons, products, and systems that support safe rail work. It manages the Digital Safety Passport and provides a helpdesk to answer questions about its use. The foundation also publishes safety alerts, news, and learning materials to share lessons from incidents and good practices within the rail sector. Through these services it supports companies and workers in applying agreed safety regulations and procedures.
