STEMulating Youth provides community-based STEM education initiatives for young people. The organization designs and delivers hands-on programs that teach science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts and skills. Its offerings include structured after-school activities and project-based learning experiences that emphasize problem
solving, critical thinking, innovative thinking, collaboration, and communication. STEMulating Youth runs the SocioTech Challenge, a competition in which middle and high school students create original STEM projects that address real-world community issues. Participants develop projects from scratch within defined guidelines, prepare displays, and present their work through video and showcase events. Through these programs, STEMulating Youth focuses on expanding access to STEM learning opportunities for underserved youth.
