Statistics for Sustainable Development is a non-profit social enterprise that supports sustainable development using statistical methods and data analysis. The organisation advises on research design and methods, including surveys, experiments and mixed methods studies. It develops digital data collection and management systems, often using ODK,
and builds project-specific databases, online platforms, automated analysis scripts and dashboards. Statistics for Sustainable Development creates courses, videos, webinars and other e-learning materials on statistics, R, data collection and research methods. It works with partners on agroecology and food systems transformation, co-developing metrics, assessment tools and research approaches with farmers and other stakeholders. The organisation focuses on helping projects obtain analysis-ready data and use evidence to inform decisions and policies.
