Starfysh is a Christian nonprofit that focuses on long-term development for the people of La Gonave, Haiti. The organization works alongside local communities to address the root causes of poverty through community health, education, and sustainable agriculture initiatives. Its health efforts prioritize preventive education, sanitation, hygiene,
clean water access, and support for medical and dental clinics. In education, Starfysh supports elementary schools, teacher training, adult education, skilled trades training, and Creole-language childhood literature projects. Its agricultural work includes Life Garden demonstration farms, seed and seedling distribution, tree planting, farmer training, and related infrastructure such as wells and processing facilities. Starfysh also engages supporters through sponsorships, events, and project-based giving to fund these programs.
