SRI-2030 promotes the System of Rice Intensification and related agroecological practices to transform rice cultivation systems. It focuses on scaling climate-smart, farmer-led rice farming by embedding SRI principles into national policies, extension services, and value chains. The organisation collaborates with governments, researchers, civil
society, multilateral agencies, and private-sector actors to provide technical advice, policy integration, and implementation support. It develops tools, resources, platforms, and training materials that enable farmer training, cross-country learning, and impact measurement. SRI-2030 coordinates initiatives such as the Sustainable Rice NDC Alliance and regional scaling strategies to align rice production with climate and food security goals. Its work includes pilot and national programmes, capacity building, and impact tracking to expand climate-friendly rice farming globally.
