Square Mile Community Development provides community development programs that address economic development, housing, health, education, and spiritual care. The organization operates initiatives such as PATH, an economic development program that supports small business development, and The Farm, a community-based urban farming project that grows
and distributes produce. It addresses food insecurity by distributing locally grown meat, produce, and dairy and by strengthening local food ecosystems. Square Mile Community Development also runs community impact consulting services that support organizations with cross-cultural work, poverty alleviation, urban farming, and outreach strategies. Through The PLACE refugee resource center, it offers language, cultural, educational, and economic support for international refugees. Its programs serve under-resourced individuals, families, and communities and collaborate with local partners and institutions.
